Even though I have had this filter installed 1 day I can justify a 5 Star ***** rating ! for 3 reasons!
1.) -EASE OF INSTALLATION! - a snap! -Unwrap, - take the end cap off, - push in, - run 8 glasses of water through it.
2.) - BETTER WATER FLOW with new filter! * HINT - measure the water flow ( the time it takes to fill a 2 quart/litre jug
- A.)- with the OLD FILTER, and B.)- with the NEW FILTER! (We use a 2 litre jug to fill our coffee maker every morning
** THIS NEW FILTER seemed to let more pressure through, resulting in faster fills!
3.)- The PRICE IS RIGHT! For Us, living in Sault Ste. Marie, ONTARIO, it's easy to order it online and have it shipped to Sault Ste. Marie, MICHIGAN, and go pick it up! the Price is much less than the Appliance store in Canada (which is headed to bankruptcy because of HIGH prices)!
*** THE ONLY QUESTION, that remains - that I have is -- I wonder if there is a comparison test done by a lab! that shows the difference in water purity, after filtering, between the ORIGINAL Whirlpool filter, and the Waterfall Filter ??
I have found that sometimes NON-OEM products can have BETTER than ORIGINAL - OEM spec's !!!!! or not so better!!!
a lot of NON-OEM products don't have the same high costs for DESIGN & R&D !
